SWAS was built out of necessity. It exists because too many South Asian professionals told us they felt invisible, unheard, and unsupported in the systems they were trying to change.
Every contribution — no matter the size — helps us run events, workshops and peer support circles; produce resources rooted in cultural understanding; build a platform where South Asian voices lead; and advocate for culturally responsive practice at a systemic level.
